Forever Young

Good Morning,

I have been spending some time thinking about how I want to approach the new year.  I’ve also talked with others who are doing the same thing.  It’s no secret that our attitudes markedly affect our outlook. And in turn, our outlook greatly impacts the choices we make and the priorities we set.  Road2Legacy was formed to help people live for something bigger than themselves and to engage in things that will live on after they do. In a nutshell, to discover and live into their legacy.

Perhaps you have found that the grind of life can make it tempting to lower your expectations for your future. Some days just making it to tomorrow is all you can get your head around. I’m not denying that doing that is sometimes winning.  I’d suggest however, that you must set your sights on things more noble, beautiful, altruistic, and yes, more transcendent if you are to thrive and make a difference.

Thanks to Sirius XM Classic Vinyl I heard a song from Rod Stewart that sets this tone really well.  After listening to it, I thought to myself, “what a great outlook on the year ahead”.  Here are the lyrics.  I hope it helps you turn your thoughts to some things you would like to focus on and impressions on others you would like to leave in 2021.
